Live At HiFi Farms Presents Patterson Hood At The McCormick Mansion
Portland, OR - Live At HiFi Farms is thrilled to announce that the incomparable Patterson Hood is returning to the McCormick Mansion for another intimate living room performance.
Hood, one of the founders of and frontmen for the Drive-By Truckers— one of America's greatest rock n' roll bands— will be premiering some brand new material alongside DBTs classics and solo album deep cuts.
Reached from the road, Patterson had this to say about the upcoming show:
"Three years ago, when I first moved cross country to beautiful Portland, one of the first things I did was a house concert at the McCormick Mansion a few blocks away from the house we were living in. I made new friends that night that are among my best friends now. I’ve been wanting to do another one ever since.
On August 17th, I’ll be playing there again. I'm in the final stages of writing for the next DBT album that we will be recording in September. This show will give me a chance to play a bunch of new songs in front of a friendly audience. I will also be pulling out some favorites and deep cuts from throughout my 33 years of playing in bands. Telling a few stories and and generally letting off some steam from these crazy times we’re all living through in 21st Century USA."
"We are so pleased to have the Reverend Hood back to the McCormick," adds HiFi Farms co-founder Lee Henderson. "Patterson and his family have really become dear friends over the last few years of us all living in Portland, and of course I've been a Truckers fan since I was an undergrad student in Athens, Georgia in the late 1990s. I am so honored to be working with him all these years later on this event. This is going to be an amazing evening."
The performance will take place on Friday, August 17th at the McCormick Mansion in SE Portland. Tickets are available through Impact Flow. This event is 21+.
